Guide 01
Bone inlay is an ancient Indian craft technique where small pieces of natural bone (typically camel or buffalo bone) are hand-cut into intricate shapes and patterns, then individually set into a base material — usually MDF wood or solid wood — using resin filler.
Each piece takes skilled artisans days or even weeks to complete. The tiny bone pieces are arranged in geometric or floral patterns, creating stunning contrast between the white bone and the coloured base.
No two bone inlay pieces are ever exactly alike — slight variations in pattern and finish are the mark of genuine handmade artisanship, not a defect.
Resin inlay uses high-quality coloured resin instead of natural bone. This allows for a much wider range of colours, patterns, and finishes — from bold vibrant hues to soft pastels and metallic effects.
Resin pieces are equally labour-intensive — each design is still hand-crafted, with resin pieces individually cut and set. The result is a contemporary, colourful alternative to classic bone inlay.
Resin products are slightly more durable and moisture-resistant than bone inlay, making them ideal for kitchenware and tableware items.

Guide 04
Bone inlay products should not be soaked in water. Clean with a slightly damp cloth only. Dry immediately after cleaning.
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the bone to yellow or the resin colours to fade. Keep in shaded or indoor areas.
Avoid bleach, acid-based cleaners, or abrasive scrubbers. Use only mild soap and water or a dry soft cloth for cleaning.
Do not place hot items directly on bone inlay or resin surfaces. Use coasters or heat pads under hot cups and dishes.
Dust regularly with a soft dry cloth. For furniture pieces, a light coat of beeswax polish once a month keeps wood looking fresh.
When storing, wrap pieces in soft cloth or bubble wrap. Avoid stacking heavy items on top of delicate inlay pieces.
